The Story Behind the Sisterhood Directory
The Sisterhood Directory was born from the heart and vision of Kat, a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and community building. Previously, Kat served as the Director of Operations at Somastery Therapeutics, where she worked closely with Kaira Mayestra to run the company, head up communications, and build systems for the Somatic Therapy Certification program.
During her time at Somastery, Kat was deeply committed to ensuring that every certified student felt confident in their unique abilities as coaches and healers. She created opportunities for these students to go through a second round of Somatic Therapy training as Mentors, allowing them to showcase their unique gifts and skillsets. From July 2023 to June 2024, Kat was deeply nested in the Somastery world, where she cultivated a strong community and mentorship program from the ground up.
Now, Kat is bringing her experience, passion, and commitment to the Sisterhood Directory—a space designed to uplift female entrepreneurs and help them gain the visibility they deserve.
