❤️🔥 The Revolution Isn’t Coming — It’s Already Here ❤️🔥
In 2019, I saw it coming.
I felt it in my body first—anxiety that didn’t feel like mine alone. It was ancestral. It was alert. Something old and familiar was beginning to stir again, dressed in modern clothes and Christian language.
I remember speaking to my children,
naming the seeds that were being planted,
and naming the systemic dangers those seeds could become.
And today, the seeds which were stirring have broken ground into our reality—making news headlines.
We are witnessing the rise of authoritarianism in America, camouflaged as “Christian values.”
And it is not just knocking at the door.
It has entered the house—
without a warrant.
armed with weapons and inhumane force.
We’re seeing:
💔 The threat to suspend Habeas Corpus — a fundamental legal protection allowing individuals to challenge unlawful detention. This isn’t a fringe idea anymore. It’s being floated at the top levels of government.
💔 ICE raids without due process — occurring at churches, homes, schools, and bus stops.
💔 An 11-year-old girl was taken at her bus stop for being Hispanic. A 2-year-old American citizen was deported for being the child of an Immigrant. And still, we’re told “citizenship will protect you.” It won’t.
💔 The Constitution is being treated like a suggestion box, its guarantees bent to fit the goals of power, not people.
💔 Courts are being stacked, not by coincidence, but by calculation. Even if dementia overtakes our sitting president, the people around him are well-prepared to carry out the mission: dismantle democracy and consolidate control.
This is no longer just a war against immigrants.
It is a war against Mexican bloodlines,
against anyone deemed “other,”
and against the very soul of American pluralism.
As a woman who carries both white and Mexican ancestry, I am watching in real-time as one side of my heritage weaponizes fear and false righteousness against the other.
It is personal. It is painful. It is happening now.
And yes, it feels scary.
But bending the knee for survival is not truly living.
And let’s talk about religion, because the distortion of it is central to this takeover.
As someone who was raised in the cult-like teachings of R.B. Thieme Jr., I know firsthand how easily one can become tangled in fear-based doctrine disguised as truth. I am no stranger to the Bible. I understand the mindset of religious extremists—not because I studied it from afar, but because I lived inside of it.
These movements are built on a strategy of intellectual surrender.
They ask followers to recognize that the contradictions don’t make sense—
and then to anchor even harder in the idea that
one day, when they’re in heaven, it will all be revealed.
That in their “Christ body,” they will understand.
That blind faith is the test of true loyalty.
And while that might seem harmless in personal belief, when that mindset takes hold in government, it becomes extremely dangerous.
Because now, we’re watching elected officials and power brokers operate with that same mindset—treating questions as rebellion, refusing accountability, weaponizing scripture, and demanding obedience to a leader as if he himself were divine.
It’s not just spiritually manipulative.
It’s politically strategic.
And it’s happening right now.
The verses that speak to compassion, humility, justice, and love—
John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8–9, Matthew 7:3–5, 1 John 4:20, Luke 6:37–42, Romans 2:1, James 1:26, Timothy 3:1–5
—they’re not just ignored.
They’re intentionally omitted, because they don’t serve authoritarian goals.
So instead, we get a gospel of cruelty.
We get sermons that bless guns and nationalism and silencing the poor.
We get fear and shame dressed in holy robes.
We get a cult—and they are not hiding it.
We are watching a cult consolidate power—not in secret, but in daylight.
So what do we do?
We prepare.
We organize.
We love harder and build stronger than ever before.
What You Can Do (Now):
💚 Build local networks off of social media.
Digital spaces are being manipulated. But in person? That’s where true safety and community grow. Organize potlucks. Gather in homes. Keep it private. Start small.
💚 Bring back paper filing.
The USPS is being deliberately slowed. Important documentation may need to be stored locally, and snail mail may not be reliable forever.
💚 Get civically active.
Show up to town halls PEACEFULLY. Call your representatives. Know your school board, your city council, your sheriff. Vote together, visibly and loudly.
💚 Support those being targeted.
Whether through mutual aid, legal funds, or simply checking on a neighbor—let no one feel alone in this.
💚 Speak the truth out loud.
In church. At the dinner table. In the group chat. Refuse to let fear write the story. If you are a child of Christ, you can stand in the fullness of agape love—not the curated cruelty of white nationalism.
We are all mothering something right now—
A vision. A resistance. A people. A future.
Let us mother this movement with the same sacredness we would our children:
Fiercely. Tenderly. Unapologetically.
This is not a moment to wait for the “right time.”
This is the time.
And if you’re reading this—you’re part of it.
