Your activism does not have to be martyrdom.

You don’t have to burn at both ends to prove your care.

You don’t have to let every conversation pull you into exhaustion.

Your nervous system matters.

Your peace matters.

There’s a quiet magic unfolding every day,

whether we notice it or not.

The sun—radiant, unwavering—touches the leaves,

and in that touch, something miraculous begins.

While the Catholic Church holds a long and complex history, today we pause not for legacy—but for impact.

Pope Francis has stood as a global voice willing to speak what so many with power will not:

That immigrants deserve dignity, not dehumanization.

That our Earth is not disposable, and neither are the lives most affected by its destruction.

That silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality—it is complicity.

Let me say this plainly:

I don’t believe in competition when it comes to passion.

Not in advocacy.

Not in healing.

Not in arts.
